Shun and Japanese. Good evening, everyone. I'm Shun, a Japanese teacher. How was your day today, everyone? How was your weekend? Please relax and listen to my podcast again today. Well everyone, I've returned to Japan. First, I didn't film any YouTube videos in Europe. I really wanted to take photos, but I held back and didn't take any. I think I traveled without filming for YouTube for the first time in a while. But it was good. I was truly able to simply enjoy just the trip. I thought that sometimes traveling without a camera is important too. I returned to Japan from Greece. After returning to Japan, the first thing that impressed me the most was Japanese toilets. Of course I knew about them, but when you go abroad for a long time and come back to Japan, you realize how amazing Japanese toilets are, right? Since public toilets in Europe were not very clean, I felt really happy when I saw Japanese toilets. After returning to Japan, I first wanted to eat ramen. So, I took my suitcase to a delicious ramen shop near my apartment. It was so delicious that I ate it all right away. I had been longing for Japanese ramen for a long time, so it was truly the best time. But I was also tired from jet lag, so I went back to my apartment and went to sleep right away. On the 3rd and 4th, it was hard to get used to the time difference. So for the first 3 or 4 days, I hardly went out. After getting used to the time difference, I was finally able to get back into my routine. I was able to teach Japanese, go to the gym, meet friends, and create Japanese bootcamp, YouTube, and podcast content. I was happiest that I could get back into my routine. I love traveling, but now I was able to realize that my work and routine are just as important as traveling. I think I've really changed. When I was young, I hated routines. I loved doing different things every day, meeting random people, and going on adventures. Of course, I still love all of that now. But now I've come to like having adventures while working on my own projects and job. So, I think my current work and lifestyle are really important to me. Since returning to Japan, I've been able to concentrate more and get a lot of work done. Of course, I can work while traveling. But I have to check in, check out, and move around a lot every day. Also, finding good Wi-Fi is a bit stressful, isn't it? There is no such worry in an apartment. You can create your own work environment. So after returning to Japan, I thought I would improve the environment of my own home more. Well, I think the current environment is not bad. But I am truly a minimalist, and I don't have many things at home. I don't really like having things. But maybe it's better to have things to make my home comfortable. So through this trip, I thought I want to create a home that I love. But I want to continue my minimalist style from now on. I think I will buy things that I think are necessary for my life. But, I don't want to have things I have no interest in at all. For example, right now I have no interest in clothes or watches. So, I don't want clothes or watches at all. I'm not very interested in cars either. Of course, having a car is convenient, but I have no interest in expensive, cool cars. A car that's old and uncool is fine. I think it varies from person to person. There might be many people different from me. But knowing what is important to you is important, isn't it? Also, what is important to you changes. We have to update every time, don't we? Also, when I return to Japan, what I think about is Japan's public safety. Japan is safe, isn't it? So, of course, you can relax more when you're in Japan than when you're traveling in other countries. In Japan, I don't worry much about pickpockets. I think one of the important things for a livable city is good public safety. So I think Japan is really easy to live in. I've lived in many places and traveled to many places, and that's what I think. Japan has many rules, and of course, sometimes there are times when I don't like these strict rules. But thanks to these rules and the people who follow them, I think we are able to create a city and country with good public safety. I came back to Japan, and now I think I want to continue living in Japan. Of course, I plan to travel a lot. Because I love traveling. But rather than taking long trips, I want to live in Japan and travel occasionally. I think this podcast is really good for me too. Thanks to this podcast, I can organize my thoughts. Well, everyone, thank you so much for always listening to this podcast.
